Krampus has crossed the line.
There are a multitude of terrible Archfey amongst the Court of Winter, but there is one in particular that is feared above all others by the children of many worlds. Krampus the Yule Lord, a goat-legged, long-tongued, lash-wielding miscreant, has the long-standing obligation of punishing the wicked, especially wicked
children. Each year, using his magic, monsters, and mischief, he travels from village to village, town to town, punishing the wicked and reluctantly sparing the obedient. On rare occasions, he finds a child so cruel, selfish, and vile, that he snatches them up. Stuffing them into his wicker basket, he drags them back to his realm within the Feywild Winter: The Black Forest. Such children are never seen again and their absence reminds others to live better, more altruistic lives.
But this time Krampus has snatched up the wrong children, children with very powerful parents who have hired you and your fellow adventurers to get them back.
A holiday rescue mission in the Feywild for four to six 8th or 9th level 5th Edition player characters.
Doctor Gennisi is dead.
A renowned doctor and healer, Dr. Zoi Gennisi, has died of heart complications. Now, his home is haunted. At first, the family assumed it might be the ghost of the good Doctor himself. But too many strange and terrible things have been happening. The housekeeper found drowned in the tub was bad, but when the residents found the remains of the Doctor’s former apprentice strewn across the walls and ceiling of the parlor room, they fled the estate.
The widow Gennisi offers a profoundly generous reward if the spirits haunting her estate can be dealt with. It is important to note that the family has amassed a sizable collection of art and antiquities over the years. Any excessive damage to the home or its contents will be deducted from your reward. The deed must be achieved TONIGHT! Should your services be lacking, she will be forced to go with a different group of heroic exorcists.
A tantalizing tale of terror for 4th-level 5e characters that takes anywhere between 4 - 8 hours to finish. Perfect for the 5th edition of the world's most popular roleplaying game!
